Zip world fforest


The lodges at Zip world Fforest provide a unique accommodation experience. Situated within Snowdonia National Park, the lodges feature a polished aluminium rainscreen with the aim of minimising any potential visual impacts. In addition, an adjustable cradle mounting system reduced any disturbance to the ground.
Stiwdio Owens were commissioned to undertake a Landscape Visual Impact Assessment for the project. This evaluated the landscape character and visual amenity and assessed any potential visual impacts of this unique development. In addition the project took part in a Design Commission for Wales review process that provided positive feedback on the project and its approach.
