Winckley square

Often described as the finest example of a privately planned Georgian development in the North of England, the project included the design and presentation of a new vision for Winckley Square.

Taking a stakeholder-led approach to the development of the design the project was a great success in providing a renewed purpose for the square which is sympathetic to the heritage of the area, and its city centre location.

In depth survey and on site analysis of the existing space was undertaken including movement, access points, desire lines, views in/ out and building use. The results of this analysis was used to inform the design and development of the vision and masterplan.
